Celluloïd Mata war ein französisches Projekt für elektronische Musik von Matthieu Maire.

1995 und 1996 war Matthieu Maire als Au Troisième Ciel aktiv und war an zwei Kompilationen über Les Variations Ludiques beteiligt.[1] Im Jahr 1996 veröffentlichte Celluloïd Mata die 7" "Mata Mensch". Das Debütalbum "Fancy Binaries" veröffentlichte Celluloïd Mata 1997 beim französischen Label Noise Museum von Yann Farcy (L'Invitation Au Suicide). Das zweite Album "Bimbo Oscillations" folgte 1998. Es wurde wie die Kompilation "Mix Oscillations" aus dem selben Jahr von dem Belgier Eric van Wonterghem gemastert. 1999 folgte das Album "Invasion Of" über Noise Museum und die 10" "Acti-room" mit Ultra Milkmaids beim deutschen Label ant-zen.
